2020 Fantastic school fundraisers made easy with Kindo

Kindo schools find that fundraising is less about admin and more about funds – and the money always ends up in the right bank account. When everything from event tickets to sausage sizzles can be booked online and paid for immediately, school families respond more quickly and more people get involved.

From a PTA perspective, Kindo means less time input per event, vastly reduced cash handling and no headaches matching payments to student names and classes. All this adds up to easier fundraisers all round. Check out West Rolleston Primary’s Great Cheese Roll fundraiser – PTA member, Jo Burnett shares her experience.

DIY your own fundraiser

If you prefer to do your own fundraisers, like sausage sizzles, discos, galas, movie nights, quiz nights, shows, calendars, mufti days, tea towels etc, Kindo can help with this too.

From a PTA perspective, Kindo means less time input per event, vastly reduced cash handling and no headaches matching payments to student names and classes. All this adds up to easier fundraisers all round.

Here’s 4 easy steps…

  1. Create your listings (product or event tickets etc) with images on the Kindo partner site
  2. Add to the Kindo Home page (“Edit Home Page” on the Kindo partner site) with dates sales are open/closing
  3. Tell your parents about the fundraiser – advertise everywhere!
  4. Watch the orders and money come in!

“The office team didn’t have to take cash and reconcile or reallocate payments. Not to mention having the organiser having to run spread sheets to keep up with it all. Less than two hours of admin support was required to take orders, run reports and make sure that batches of cheese rolls were passed on to students for delivery, along with a list of recipients. I could go online and instantly check how may orders had been placed.” – Jo Burnett, PTA West Rolleston School
