Founded in 2010, NZ business The Growth Collective simplifies student transactions for School & Membership organisations, their Families and Suppliers, through two brands, Kindo and ezlunch.
Founded in 2010 by Mumtrepreneur, Sandra Finlay, our team work throughout New Zealand to support Primary, Intermediate and Secondary schools to simplify family transactions.
Originally built to provide healthier lunch services, the family-oriented ezlunch software was quickly recognised as a system that would be helpful to schools to provide clarity and simplicity for family transactions, resulting in Kindo.
From Day One, we have been dedicated to the health and well-being of tamariki, and simplifying school life to ensure schools and families have the resources to support thriving students is at our heart.
We are big believers in the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, with a focus on SDG3 Good Health & Wellbeing (through ezlunch) and SDG4 Quality Education (through Kindo). To do this, we actively work with our ezlunch caterers on healthy menus and environmental packaging; and we empower schools to reduce costly administration and more easily raise funds for learning, while ensuring whanau have the access to transact where and when they like with full visibility. No more soggy paper forms or coin searches for Kindo families!
Our team know what it’s like to manage work and family, and we’ve been working with NZ schools for many years, so we understand the complexities of school management and funding. We work closely with our school customers, and continue to listen and adapt… you could say Kindo software is designed by schools!
Finally, we live what we preach. Our team is valued and supported, attending school events is encouraged, and most work flexible or part-time hours so they can find the family balance to support their own whanau. From company conception, this has been important, and it lives on today in a company culture we are truly proud of and enjoy.
Kindo simplifies student transactions - whatever they may be! It offers online school shopping, payment requests & reminders, registrations, fundraising, and lunch through one simple family app, that handles all students in the family, across multiple schools.
School shops can be online in minutes, complete with size and flavour choices, questionnaires and permissions, images, stock limits and more.
Student Management System integration empowers schools & proprietors to quickly create payment requests, with powerful reminder and reporting tools - and as they're onscreen with lunch & other school shopping, your families will be reminded more often! There are many ways that Kindo can increase school funding and efficiencies.
Whatever you need, Kindo can help.
EZLUNCH uses the power of Kindo online school shop to provide a healthy school lunch delivery service for students and staff.
Families use myKindo to order from the school lunch menu, on the day or in advance, cashless and with no paper forms.
Local cafe's and caterers, specialist sushi shops and nationwide brands, such as New World, Pita Pit & Subway are available to prepare and deliver, organised by our ezlunch team to school specification.
Our ezlunch team work with the Heart Foundation and caterers to provide a school lunch service with variety, value and healthy options. Simplifying family life.
Kindo is available in many schools across New Zealand… for ezlunch, PTA fundraisers, canteens, or collecting sports registrations or school costs. Chances are, there’s a whole lot more your school could use it for, especially around fundraising! We offer automated donation rebate collection, ezlunch rebates, DIY fundraising shops… we even have some fundraising partners with shops we prepared earlier, ready to go immediately.
