Kindo launch 2022 features at School Business Managers conference

School Business Managers conference, held in Tauranga in the July holidays, was great timing to announce the latest Kindo innovations and get face-to-face feedback. And the feedback was fantastic!

While Kindo student payment aggregation has always saved hours of administration, the new Xero Draft Invoice integration made that efficiency even more obvious! Forget coding bank statements – one weekly payment from Kindo, and a Draft Invoice (already coded to the right accounts) takes care of the job!

Another innovation was the pulling together of Board report data. Schools already using this feature have reported previously taking hours to collate the required data, now available in seconds and ready to download and format.

International Students Contingency Fee management was super popular! Designed in conjunction with a large high school, this feature takes the work out of keeping track of spending. Host families or international student coordinators are generally tasked with management of these contingency funds, but accurate control and reporting back to parents can be problematic. Kindo enables quick assignment of costs to international students (or to all students except international and so on). Contingency Funds held on Kindo can be automatically applied to pay off items, and Kindo will report accurate funds usage statements for families, and available balances.

We are really looking forward to sharing more info on these developments shortly, but in the meantime, feel free to contact us to find out more.
